Sodium Hydroxide

Sodium Hydroxide/Lye is is a highly versatile reagent used in different manufacturing processes.

You need lye to convert your butters and oils to soap.

WARNING –  Causes severe skin burns and eye damage. Do not breathe dust, mist, or vapours.

PRECAUTION:  Always wear protective gears (gloves, eye goggles, protective clothing)

If contact with skin or eye occurs run under tap water for 20 mins. Seek medical attention.
