Arrow Root Powder

Arrowroot is a starch obtained from the rootstock of various starchy plants. The arrowroot we carry is obtained Maranta Arundinacea, which is considered a traditional source of Arrowroot Powder.

It is generally substituted for cornstarch, and may be used as a thickening agent for gourmet dishes, and is well known for its use in crystal clear fruit glazes and jellies.

Arrowroot powder can also be used as an additive and or a base for some personal care formulations. It is a main ingredient for most body powders.
